You are cordially invited to participate in the the OSID Version 3 Working Group kickoff meeting to be held during the upcoming IMS Quarterly meeting: Monday, February 6, at the MIT University Park Hotel (Hotel@MIT), Cambridge, MA. The purpose of the OSID V3 Working Group is to capture OSID development experiences, enable the RFC maintenance process, and to identify potential additional service interfaces, leading to an updated specification.
This initial meeting will be an all-day session to review and discuss general OSID design patterns that will serve to establish the scope of desired changes in version 3. An outline of the meeting agenda is included below.
If you wish to attend, please register at http://www.imsglobal.org/meetingsignupfebform.cfm. I look forward to seeing you there. If you are unable to attend this meeting, let us know of your interest in participating in this effort. We will send out a summary of the discussion in addition to information regarding future meetings and communication forums.
